Trans-Plant Training is a SafeWork NSW approved training provider for White Card training.
The general construction induction card (White Card) Course in NSW is designed to raise awareness and help implement strategies and practices to eliminate these risks that cause injuries and fatalities in the workplace.
The White Card course is a mandatory requirement to work in the Construction Industry across Australia, it will cover the basic WHS knowledge required prior to commencing work tasks within any of the building sectors. This course requires the ability to demonstrate personal awareness of Work Health & Safety (WHS) legislative requirements.
The White Card course is for anyone who is required to enter or work on a construction site. This is a mandatory requirement across Australia.
With our highly experienced trainers you will learn how to identify and report construction hazards, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) use, as well as the basic principles of risk management and prevention of injury and illness. With theoretical, practical and assessment components students will acquire all relevant knowledge and skills to assist them in the construction industry.
This White Card course combines plain English, videos, photos, and questioning to ensure all learners are able to have the best possible chance at comprehending the required knowledge and skills. This course requires 1-day attendance of classroom-based training with allocated breaks.
Participants should arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time of the course to complete the necessary enrolment paperwork.
If participants arrive 10 minutes after the scheduled starting time, entry to the course will be refused.
Within the 7 hours of the white card course, students will receive lunch breaks (lunch not provided) and will sit assessments throughout the day. Students are offered multiple opportunities to demonstrate their knowledge and skills throughout the course to deem them competency across the unit.

After successful completion of 1-day White Card training and assessment, you will be issued with a SafeWork Statement of Completion (SOC) which allows you to enter or work on any construction site immediately. The Statement of Completion is valid for 60 days, SafeWork NSW will post the final White Card to you.
You will also receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment (SOA) issued by Trans-Plant Training listing the unit of competency included in this training course.
Note: Your SafeWork NSW TCWT card may take up to 30 days to arrive in post from SafeWork NSW. If you don’t receive your card, please contact SafeWork NSW on 13 10 50.
