These SafeWork NSW accredited Traffic Control Courses are delivered face-to-face at our training facilities in Penrith, Parramatta & Burwood in Western Sydney NSW. All participants will be job ready at completion of their Final Assessment.

A Traffic Controller licence (formerly known as Blue Card) is the most popular traffic control course for entry in to the Traffic management industry.
Prior to performing the role of a Traffic Controller on a public road, a person must successfully complete this Traffic Controller with Stop-Slow bat training.
Upon successful completion course and assessment participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment by Trans-Plant Training Pty Ltd, and a Traffic Controller card issued by SafeWork NSW.

Traffic Management Implementer
1 Day Course in Penrith, Burwood or Parramatta NSW (excludes assessment day).
Cost is $300.00 per person inclusive of SafeWork NSW card fee.
This Traffic Management course (formerly known as Yellow Card and Implement Traffic Control Plans) allows the qualification holder to setup a traffic control & traffic management plan on a work site and monitor personnel safety.
On successful completion of this course and assessment, participants will receive a Traffic Management Implementer licence issued by SafeWork NSW.

Traffic Management Designer
2 Day Course in Penrith, Parramatta or Burwood NSW.
Cost is $900.00 per person and includes training, assessments, certificate & SafeWork NSW card.
This traffic management design course (formerly known as Red Card / Orange Card and Work Zone Traffic Management Plan) is designed for experienced traffic control operators covers all key elements of a traffic management plan including comprehensive information to assist engineers, project managers, and plan designers who are involved in the preparation of a traffic management design plan.
Upon successful completion of both course and assessment, participants will be issued with a Traffic Management Designer card issued by SafeWork NSW

Traffic Control Combination
Cost is $450.00 per person (2 Card Combo – Save $100) inclusive of SafeWork NSW card fee.
Trans-Plant Training’s Traffic Control Combination is a 2 day course which combines both Traffic Controller (Stop/Slow Bat) & Traffic Management Implementer courses and is a popular discounted option for entry into the industry.
Traffic Control Combo + White Card
Cost is $550.00 per person (3 Card Combo – Save $160) inclusive of SafeWork NSW card fee and SafeWork fee.
Our 2nd Combo option is a 3 day course which combines both Traffic Controller (Stop/ Slow Bat) & Traffic Control Implementer along with the Construction Induction / White Card Course which is prerequisite to working on a construction site. If you do not wish to do 3 consecutive days, please call the office to arrange split dates.

Yes, Trans-Plant Training Pty Ltd is a SafeWork NSW approved Traffic Control Training Provider for Traffic Controller, Traffic Management Implementer and Traffic Management Designer courses. Only RTOs registered by ASQA and with an agreement with SafeWork can train and assess for Traffic Control Work Training in New South Wales.

Yes you will require a valid SafeWork NSW White Card (or interstate equivalent) to be on site.
Yes we offer discounted combination options. Trans-Plant Training offers a 2-card combo option; If you already have your White Card it will be a fee of $500.00 or there is a 3-card combo option where you get both traffic control cards and your White Card for $550.00. Please check our calendar for upcoming dates.
After your completion of training you will need to do a final assessment which is practical, there will be a fee involved, if you need to be signed off by us due to you not working in the industry or your industry can not sign you off, it will be a charge of $130.00. Otherwise, if your industry can sign you off, it will be a charge of $50.00 to complete your final assessment.
To commence traffic controller work or implement traffic management plans upon successful completion of the course, you will need to complete onsite assessments. Once all paperwork is finished, SafeWork NSW will despatch card in approximately 3 weeks.
On successful completion of our Traffic Control Course and final assessment, students are issued with a Statement of Completion by Trans-Plant Training Pty Ltd, and a SafeWork NSW issued Traffic Control Work Training Card (TCWT).
Yes, a student enrolling for TCWT must be 17 years of age or over on the day the training starts, as per SafeWork NSW conditions.
